HOT ! Absolut Citron Vodka｜ Other Products

Absolut Citron launched in 1988 and went on to define an entire decade of drinking — it's the vodka in the Cosmopolitan, the cocktail that Toby Cecchini built around it at the Odeon in Manhattan and that Sex and the City made a global phenomenon. It's made the same way as every Absolut, in Åhus, Sweden, where the brand has distilled since 1879: continuous column distillation of locally grown winter wheat with water from the village's deep well, then natural lemon and lime flavor added with no sugar, bottled at 40% ABV. Expect a bright, zesty nose of fresh lemon peel with a lime edge, opening into a clean, crisp, citrus-forward palate where the wheat base's soft roundness keeps it smooth and the fruit reads like zest rather than candy, finishing dry. Drink Lab calls the flavored range genuinely useful and Citron in particular a bottle bartenders actually pour. Honest note: it's a flavored vodka, and purists should reach for the original or Elyx — but few flavored spirits have earned their place on the back bar like this one. It's the base of the Cosmopolitan, the Lemon Drop, a Citron Collins, a vodka soda that needs no lime, and any lemonade-based summer drink. The bottle shape, borrowed from an 18th-century Swedish medicine bottle, is one of the most recognized in the world. A modern classic since 1988.Buy Absolut Citron Vodka online with fast shipping right to your door.
