We get it; when it comes to the Clearwater series, it’s impossible to know which diaphragms are going to work best for you. With the Clearwater Altitude Series, you can try them all. Get the entire lineup of Clearwater elk reeds and discover what thickness, stretch and tension works best for your calling style. The Clearwater Altitude Series contains all seven Clearwater reeds:

Clearwater Miner Elk Reed (1): Crafted from highly durable, yet flexible .003” latex, the Miner diaphragm is a low pressure call for minimum air pressure and low tongue pressure, yet it yields a full range of bugles and moans with lower volume.

Clearwater Logger Elk Reed (1): This hardworking diaphragm is made with red .004” latex, giving it a medium stretch that works well with both low and high pressure calling. It’s a midrange call — not as loud or high pitched as some, but what it lacks in volume, it makes up for in versatility and basal buzz.

Clearwater Isabella Creek Elk Reed (1): Our easiest-to-use Clearwater reed, designed for beginners and hunting veterans alike. Made from .003” black latex, the Isabella is a low-pressure diaphragm with very little stretch. Best of all, it never sticks, so you can keep calling right up until the moment you take your shot.

Clearwater Maniac Elk Reed (1): Make your own “maniac energy” with this low- to medium-pressure call, designed to produce deep bugles, chuckles and more at a lower volume. Crafted from blue .003” latex, the Maniac takes less air pressure to replicate the kind of nasal sounds needed to lure in high-pressure elk.

Clearwater North Fork Elk Reed (1): Made from highly durable .004” latex, the North Fork diaphragm features a tight stretch — get high notes with a lot of volume and good air pressure, all while holding on to those nasal tones callers should expect from latex.

Clearwater Selway Elk Reed (1): Crafted from .004” natural latex, the Selway Elk Reed has more stretch and thus produces a high, clear sound with more than enough volume. Like its cousin, the Lochsa, it sits back in its frame a bit, in a more traditional style.

Clearwater Lochsa Elk Reed (1): Similar to the Selway, the Lochsa Elk Reed is made from natural latex and features a more traditional design, sitting back further into its frame. The difference lies in the diaphragm’s thick, .006” latex. It’s got a great basal buzz and, best of all, tons of volume.

Inspired by Idaho’s wilderness and workers, the Altitude Series, 7-Pack Elk Reeds offers hunters a superior calling experience with reeds designed not just to sound better, but perform better. We’re talking season-long durability, consistency across diaphragms and top-tier comfort for any length hunt. And now, you don’t have to choose just one or two; with the Clearwater Altitude Series, you’ll be able to test out all seven reeds in the Clearwater lineup.
